    • Licenses required under leases e.g. in order to assign or sublet or carry out alterations.
    • Lease renewals under the 1954 Landlord and Tenant Act.
  2. Property Investment
    • Acting for investors of commercial and mixed-use buildings.
    • Grant of leases and sell-off of land.
    • Assembling a site for development.
    • Portfolio Sales and Purchases.
    • Auctions.
We also act for a number of retailers and are able to advise on complex Shopping Centre leases which are often on a turnover basis.

Residential Property

We understand the stresses and strains of buying and selling property. We provide quality advice to a wide range of clients, from first-time buyers to commercial investors, from professional landlords to developers.

Dealing primarily with the sale and purchase of houses and flats, we provide bespoke services tailored to the needs of each client. We communicate clearly with all parties involved to make the experience as stress-free as possible. One large source of business is existing clients using us again when they move. Another is existing clients recommending others to use us.

We are panel solicitors to all the major banks and building societies.

We offer specialist advice on all areas of leasehold property law, including leasehold enfranchisement, lease extensions and variations, and lease interpretation. One particular area of expertise is the Leasehold Reform Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 and the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002.

We provide expert advise in the following areas:

  • Sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties, including new-builds.
  • Mortgages and re-finance.
  • Drafting and granting of leases and tenancy agreements.
  • Lease extensions and variations.
  • Collective enfranchisement the acquisition of freeholds by tenants.
